I’m not fond of labels. Myself, I’m a registered member of the Green Party. So by posting this, I get branded as a liberal. I’m a thinker. I’ve been bringing up what Thom talks about for a few years now; money has corrupted our country, denial of science, we’re creating ghettos, the prison population, income inequality, the environment.
It’s even in the bible, that we should be taking care of the planet: “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it” (Genesis 2:15).
Watch this piece, it’s good. I never considered that big money is up to causing the economy to crash. But it makes sense. When an economy crashes, who wins? The people with the money — because they can swoop in and buy for pennies on the dollar. We saw it happen with the housing crash.
This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats, liberals or conservatives. This is our country, our society. This is about us people — you and I. I don’t understand why people aren’t getting what’s going on.
