How are you Paul?!
Me and my wife are living in Eagle-Vail for the winter (although in NY right now till the end of the week). I have wanted to contact you, ski with you, but didn’t know how. I know you live in Eagle Ranch, but don’t know your last name. But I saw your recent post on the PMTS forum trying to comfort Harald, and recognized your style, your “head”. This together with it being “Paul”, then clicking “bowlhiker” (obvious reference to your beloved Highlands Bowl) and being directed to this blog named after your wife, the smart one…merging with a song from a era showing your age, I knew it was you! Do you still ski better than 99%?! ;)
Your story about the Diamond Mine. Your convictions about your homeland.
But this problem back there is bs. The Jews and the Palestinians must have peace. The land should be shared. So much battle, so much death, over a small piece of land.
I get it. The land is Holy to you. But the rest of the world is being held hostage while both sides continue this war.
It needs to end. Let’s go make some turns and talk about it.
When?
No, I’m not better than anyone. That’s a rat race. I have a relationship with the snow, the sky, everything around me. I was in a rat race before. I quit the race. Now, it’s about my love affair with the mountain.
No drugs, booze, or pharma. Some need it, I don’t. Jeezus. I get higher now than I ever did before — and it lasts all day! :-)
It’s time for the Rad Rab and I to make some turns and solve this problem. We can figure it out, the Rad Rab and I. Then we’ll put it out in the Universe, the Universe will take over from there.
We just need to move our feet way more than we move our mouth.
