Today I got Bowling Alley, G L E (greatest line ever) and Powerline. I thought Powerline was a first, I had found it last year. Oh well. I took it again.
Bowling Alley is on the trail map. But since it’s a sign on a tree, it’s an official Highlands sign.
G L E isn’t officially a Highlands sign, because it’s not on a tree. But it’s freaking steep in there, I had to have the picture. Because G L E isn’t a sign on a tree, I have to give an asterisk. G L E is a Highlands sign with an asterisk.
Powerline isn’t on the trail map. And of course, it’s on a tree. So it’s a bonus Highlands sign.
I took another picture of Fran’s Love. My mother is Frances, she’s getting old. So I took it again, thinking of her.
Check out where I can reach out with my pole and touch the uphill. Not only that, my arm isn’t fully extended. That, folks, is freaking steep. I skied with a guy from Chamonix today, he commented “It’s steep here”.
