Anyone who believes in a free country should stand up for it. Please read these two links by Foreign Policy and The Daily Beast

Steve Bannon Is Making Sure There’s No White House Paper Trail, Says Intel Source

According to this piece, Steve Bannon has taken control of our national security. If you don’t know who Steve Bannon is or what he stands for, check out Breitbart.com Click on any of the top stories, then read the comments. The comments, say it all. Because, you are the company you keep. I spent 3 hours last night reading the comments on various stories. They range anywhere from Anglosphere (a white only nation) to calling for death to anyone who disagrees with a white only nation.

Now read this piece, linked to from the Foreign Policy piece

Steve Bannon, Trump’s Top Guy, Told Me He Was ‘A Leninist’ Who Wants To ‘Destroy the State’

From the piece

Then we had a long talk about his approach to politics. He never called himself a “populist” or an “American nationalist,” as so many think of him today. “I’m a Leninist,” Bannon proudly proclaimed.

Shocked, I asked him what he meant.
“Lenin,” he answered, “wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.” Bannon was employing Lenin’s strategy for Tea Party populist goals. He included in that group the Republican and Democratic Parties, as well as the traditional conservative press.

Also from the piece

“National Review and The Weekly Standard,” he said, “are both left-wing magazines, and I want to destroy them also.” He added that “no one reads them or cares what they say.” His goal was to bring down the entire establishment including the leaders of the Republican Party in Congress. He went on to tell me that he was the East Coast coordinator of all the Tea Party groups. His plan was to get its candidates nominated on the Republican ticket, and then to back campaigns that they could win. Then, Bannon said, when elected they would be held accountable to fight for the agenda he and the Tea Party stood for.

###

Steve Bannon wants to “bring everything crashing down”, which means our government. If the government falls so too does our freedom and everything this great country has known and stood for. He also wants to destroy the press, which is key to a functioning democracy.

You need to get on the phone tomorrow and call your state representatives. Tell them that history will forever link them to the destruction of our democracy, if they don’t stand up us.

Democrats won’t be enough. We’ll need Republicans, too. Senators and Congressman of both parties should be reminded of Profiles Of Courage, by Senator John F. Kennedy. This 1957 Pulitzer Prize-winning volume of short biographies describing acts of bravery and integrity by eight United States Senators throughout the Senate’s history. The book profiles Senators who defied the opinions of their party and constituents to do what they felt was right and suffered severe criticism and losses in popularity because of their actions.

It’s that bad. We are literally facing the end of our great nation.

Don’t let it happen. Call your state representatives. Then take to the streets. Please. Because protests matter
