Sun and Earth Power

September 14, 2019 By paulie Leave a Comment

I took a trip over to Paonia today to pick up some food.

Driving over always blows my mind, how beautiful it is. I think the drive is the best.

My heart beat changes starting at the base of McClure Pass.

Here’s almost the top of the pass looking towards Pitkin County and coming down the pass, heading towards Paonia –

First stop was Hotchkiss, to pick up some honey, berries and jalapeños from Steve Ziemer @ Immunity Farms. Hotchkiss is old school Colorado Western Slope town. But each time I go, I see more hippies, art, and color. Bandwidth is still hit and miss there, which also makes it cool.

Hotchkiss and Paonia are ground zero for organic farming, righteous and kind people who grow food the right way – no pesticides, nothing but love. Super cool place.

Immunity Farms booth – Steve loves Phish and the Dead. Call them at 970.210.8253. Steve loves to talk about music. They can’t ship their honey thought. I get the feeling they don’t ship much of anything they grow. That’s cool, go see them. You’ll be glad you did.

if you’re here in CO, it’s worth it (because your body is worth it) to take a trip and go see them.  Steve will show you around the farm.

From Hotchkiss I stopped in Paonia to see my friend Taraz, proprietor of Taraz Teas. Taraz is the best. Everything he does is with intention, with the thought of healing.

Check out Taraz’s new digs, it’s called the Tea House. Everyone in Paonia is buzzing about the Tea House –

Listen to Taraz talking about what he’s up to –

Taraz makes hot sauce. Renee loves it. If Renee loves it, you know it’s good. Here’s the ingredients –

On the way back I stopped in @ Solar Energy International – SEI.

Happens to be that one of the world’s top solar organizations is right here in Paonia. I bet they go to the Tea House.

SEI is a super cool place. It’s righteous ground. They have free EV charging, how cool is that! Two chargers @ SEI, one of their chargers is a Tesla chargers. The solar powers the EV chargers. These people are so righteous, they even provide comfy chairs to sit in while charging and taking in the natural beauty.

I talked to one of the trainers today. SEI has trained over 100,000 people in solar and alternative energy. They have a group coming in this week from Rwanda. These cats are making the world a better place.

So here’s the story.

I drive over to pick up pure food that’s grown with love and righteousness. No pesticides. Food is life.

I drive over in an electric car, made in America, by an American company, no emissions. It doesn’t cost me anything to drive 226 miles round trip, because I get my juice from the sun.

I’m helping to lower health insurance costs for everyone. Because, if we’d all be healthy, we wouldn’t have to go to the doctor. No doctor, no doctor bills, no hospital, health insurance costs go down.

I’m generating revenue for a small rural community, in a time when small rural communities are going away.

I’m helping a small business, they’re helping us stay healthy. It’s all about love – love for the planet, love for each other.

When I charged @ SEI, the charge was powered by the sun.

Now please fucking tell me, Trump. Please tell me why, you and the Republicans aren’t channeling everything into organic farming and alternative energy? Hey Trump and Republicans. This is how our country gets healthy, how our people get better, how our economy booms, how we save Mother Earth.

But no. Trump mocks energy from the wind. He’s trying to block electric vehicles. He promotes fake food. He wants to kill the planet.

The greatest economic opportunity ever is about the sun and the soil, not oil and pesticides. One that’d make the Internet seem small. But Trump and the Republicans are poisoning and raping Mother Earth, while killing us and killing off farming communities. They’re trying to kill beautiful farming communities like Paonia and Hotchkiss. Bastards. All in the name of God.

Trump, and the Republicans, are anti-American and douchebags. And that’s on their best day.
