March 20, 2016 By paulie 7 Comments

Here’s my latest smoothie. I do this everyday, sometimes I’ll make another one later – but smaller. Do this everyday. Ingredients:

Frozen fruit in the winter (oranges, mango, berries, pineapple). Fresh fruit otherwise.
Oats
Black Strap Molasses
Date Sugar
Cardamom
Cinnamon
Fresh Ginger
Fresh Turmeric
Fresh Garlic
Juice
Kale
Beet
Water

    Nice one, Paul.

My go-to smoothie is a green one.
    1 cup apple juice
    1/3 plain no-fat yogurt
    Large handful of spinach
    Larger handful of kale
    1/2 in slice of lemon
    1″ slice of ginger
    1 tbsp ground flax seed
    1 tbsp chia seed
    1/2 tsp moringa powder
    1/2 tsp spirulina

    Cheers.

      Right.
A few days a week I add in flax seed.
Lemon is really good too, great source of vitamin C.

Most days I add in a handful of Almonds. A couple days a week I add in half a lemon.

      My friend Lewie.

Many thanks for all you’ve done for us. Now it’s time for us to help you get healthy and live a better life. Renee and I are psyched to do it, it’s what we live for.

This one made me think of one of my favorite tunes from high school: http://youtu.be/SM6tHcZHDus My smoothies are a little more low budget these days-probably a lot less healthy, but I’m doing what I can… Time to hit Whole Foods for some cardamom. Thanks for inspiring me to hit that next level, yet again- as you always have-in business, life, and diet!
