google concedes that drive-by prying violated privacy

March 17, 2013 By paulie 1 Comment

So Google got caught tracking your wifi network. Oops.

Here’s the video link where they got their hands slapped for tracking your wifi network. Yep, the government fined them $7 million. Google spends more on coffee every month. Just goes to show you, that Google has the government in their back pocket.

Google is watching you

And to top it all off, Google even wants you to wear their freaking glasses! So they can watch what you’re doing!

“Do No Evil”? Google should change their tagline to, “Do No Good”.

And you trust your data to this man?

Are people really falling for this? They are. Oh, My, Gosh.

Here’s a follow up to the story, from today’s NYT Opinion page:
    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/17/opinion/sunday/google-street-view.html?ref=opinion

“The settlement last week between a group of state attorneys general and Google over the company’s improper data collection from home wireless networks shows the need to overhaul a 27-year-old federal law that is not up to the task of addressing new forms of privacy invasion”.
