Very grateful I got to see Phish again, for 3 nights at Dick’s; September 4, 5, and 6.
I was with my good buddy Tommy P. all 3 nights, he took great care of me once again. So great hanging with him. The last night Tommy brought his beautiful wife Kari and their baby daughter Hollis. I had the honor of attending Hollis’s first Phish concert, very cool. Here’s to many more.
First night, 9.4. Tommy and I sat in the stands. I didn’t get any video, too far from the stage. But it was perfect just the same. First year with the HIPEVAN!
2nd night:
Tommy got us down on the floor. It was the first time I’ve been on the floor for a Phish show. It’s a totally different experience. Tommy and I will be on the floor again.
3rd night. Kari and Hollis came, so Tommy was up in the stands. I was so psyched from being on the floor the night before, I busted a move and got down there again for the 1st set. Too fun. Then for the 2nd set I went up in the stands and finished the show with Tommy and his familia.
Then, Phish played the best encore I’ve seen from any band. I was blown away. Phish kicks ass, I love this band. I love Tommy and his familia. Undies with shorts? How tacky!
There is nothing better than hitting Phish shows with people who love being at Phish shows. The anticipation, the song calling from hearing one note, and the surprising encores that spell something.

Pauly, it is a blast to see the joy you have experienced over the past year or so with this band. We have just begun. Thanks again for a great weekend and let’s also thank TomK for the accommodations. Something tells me he will make it to all three shows (even if this band sucks!).
