It’s winter here, tomorrow will be a powder day. Seems trite though, in light of what’s going on in the world.
Like every other news obsessed junkie, I’ve spent way too much time reading about Paris. Time to shift to the Serenity Prayer.
The best thought I have is that now it’s time for the Muslims to take charge. If most of them really are peaceful, they need to be taking to the streets and be visible. They need to tell us, what they’re about. Because I don’t know. I think I know what they’re about, but it’s all guesswork. I’ve never read the Koran, I don’t have the time to. I probably couldn’t understand it if I did. Millions of other Americans are surely in the same boat.
Popular conservative websites are calling for Muslim internment camps — Japanese war redux. Round ’em all up, lock ‘em up. The 2016 election is now about war. Peace loving Muslims need to get how urgent it is for you all to stand up and be counted — for you, for us. Peace loving Muslims need to get that an entire political party is hungry for war. Hell they don’t want to just lock you up, they want to lock up anyone who doesn’t see things their way. They want to take away our freedom.
If most Muslims really are peace loving, now is their time to show us. Not on social, in the streets. Americans, the world, needs to see millions of peace loving Muslims now. Y’all need to come front and center.
This war is about you, not us. It’s you all, who need to take up arms against the oppressors, the fuck heads who are trying to take over your religion.
The terrorists want us to overreact and go to war. That’s why they call it terrorism. Because they know that us going to war will help them recruit more terrorists. Duh. 8 guys in Paris aren’t going to take down the world, just like 19 guys didn’t take down the world on 9-11. What will take down civilization however, is if we fall for their scam.
Peace loving Muslims need to get that it’s not just the terrorists who want us to go to war, it’s an entire political party. They couldn’t win the election if it was about the economy. But now that it’s about war, they’ve got a good chance. There’s a lot of money in war. And, they see this as their shining moment to castrate our President, who they really don’t like.
I traveled to Chicago to see Obama get elected in 08. I think he’s a good man. He can’t keep the dogs at bay forever, he can only do so much. He’s stood for you, he’s had your back. Now, it’s time for you to have his back.
Dear Muslims. This is about you, not us. Get out there and show the world what you stand for. Please. If you want us (the other political party) to help you, you need to help yourselves. Now is the time.
I keep praying for next MLK to show up. Otherwise, god help us.
