Totality at the top of the Jackson Hole tram

The Universe saw to it that we were at Totality. We saw it from the top of the tram @ Jackson Hole.

We were in the center of the path, @ 10,200 feet. The sky was clear. Only 800 tram tickets were sold. It couldn’t have been any better. And this comes from my friends Tony Crocker and Liz O’Mara, total eclipse chasers. Liz has seen 9 total eclipses, Tony has seen 11.

Oh and BTW. Tony and Liz got married right after Totality. I thought Tony was cool before this. The dude has been on the cover of Powder Magazine. But then he gets married at Totality, on top of Jackson Hole? Tony rocks my world.

Seeing what we did, where we did, with the people we were with, life is different for us now. We’re now eclipse chasers. I can’t thank Tony and Liz enough. We have a much deeper connection to nature, the Universe and environment now.

Mother Earth talked to me. She showed me how beautiful she is. She told me that if we don’t make radical changes to our lives and change our ways, we might not bask in the Moon’s shadow again.

People. What’s it going to take for you to start taking care of our planet? We’re not going to pray our way out of this. No. We need to move our feet. Everyone, every one of us, needs to make big changes. We all need to start living 7 generations ahead, one day at a time.

Millions of people looked up at the sky based on what scientists predicted. Even Trump. Scientists predict when eclipses will happen, where they’ll happen, exactly when they’ll happen, for the next few hundred years. We listen to them. Then please tell me why some aren’t listening to them on climate change? Harvey, Irma. Fires. What the freak is it going to take for people to take action and save the planet?
