You don’t have to believe in climate change to believe these two movies

Last night I watched the best movie on Climate Change since Peter Byck’s great film, Carbon Nation.

Here’s a picture from 2012 that Peter was kind enough to take with me.

The name of the film is Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution

Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution trailer

Happening is a great film, because it lays out a path to prosperity for everyone.

Yes, people need to understand what’s at stake with our planet. Yes, they need to get if we all don’t start making changes, most of which are uncomfortable, what life will look like — for the children.

But they also need to get what a big opportunity clean energy is. That they won’t have to give up anything, that it’s about happiness and freedom.

We need more films and efforts such as Happening, that show how bright our lives will be when we make these changes.

I’ve said for years now that energy is the biggest economic opportunity of my lifetime. That it’s way bigger than the Internet. If you watch Happening and disagree, you’re not being honest.

If our country would turn its focus to solar, wind, and growing food, we’d literally have Utopia. People everywhere would be happy, healthy, wealthy and wise.

But instead, we’ve got Trump and his gang of thugs. Their practices amount to nothing more than the destruction of our planet and keeping us down. It’s criminal, what they’re up to. Anyone who voted for Trump owes the world an apology.

Enough about Trump. Let’s get to the solution. 2018 is here. Let’s elect politicians who believe and want to build Utopia. It’s not a dream, it’s not fantasy. It’s right there in Happening.

My friend said “What more could we wish for than happiness for our children”. Happening gets us there. Let’s make Happening, happen.
