Power to the People

October 9, 2015 By paulie 4 Comments

Someone should organize a 3 day sit-in in D.C. Get 3 million people to show up to D.C. next September, just before the elections to rally, protest and march.

Nothing will happen or change unless people take action. Posting on social, clicktivism, wearing a t-shirt, putting on a bumper sticker, that won’t change a thing. You want to create change? Move your feet.

Power To The People.

3 Day Sit-In in D.C., September 016

Income Opportunity
Climate Change
Mass Incarceration
Corporate Control
Privacy

It’s people, not politicians, who make the difference. Power is never ceded without demand.

Income Opportunity
Let’s rebuild our country from the inside out, starting with the poorest areas first. Make “Made in The USA” mean, “made by Americans who walk to work”.

Climate Change
The soil is contaminated, we can make it pure again by funding beyond organic and farm to table, not, big AG. People should be encouraged to grow as much of their food as possible. Let’s put our food back in the hands of American farmers, take it out of Monsanto’s hands. It’s easier to raise healthy children than to fix broken men.

Mass Incarceration
America has 5 percent of the world’s population, but 25% of the world’s prisoners. Putting people in jail is a great business. The war on drugs was lost the day it was announced. What if we spent the trillions we’ve wasted on the war on drugs in the neighborhoods that need it the most?

Corporate Control
We have auctions, not elections. We have never ending wars, because war makes money for corporations.

Privacy
Without privacy there is no freedom. The tech giants hooked us on free. The concept of free software is that the user is the product being sold. Free software has cost us our freedom, it has created and feeds the surveillance state.

Looks like someone is taking the idea:
