eggless egg salad breakfast – great for you, your neighbors and the planet

February 7, 2017 By paulie Leave a Comment

One of my favorites right now is this eggless egg salad Renee makes. It’s delish.

Here’s the recipe
http://www.vegkitchen.com/recipes/tofu-eggless-%E2%80%9Cegg-salad%E2%80%9D-sandwiches/

Renee follows it pretty much exactly, she just doesn’t use near as much Vegenaise. She uses “two or three heaping tablespoons”.

So for breakfast today I put the eggless salad on a slice of sourdough bread with tomato slices. Sprinkle on Celtic Sea Salt. Delish.

Anyone can do this.

Eating this way is Patriotic. Notice all the food came from small, American companies. What’s more American than this?

Did you vote for Trump? Walk the walk. What did you have for breakfast? Where did the ingredients come from? Trump is all about jobs, right? Right. Trump won’t create jobs. You will. How? By buying all your food from small American companies and farmers (remember them?), same as we do.

There’s more. Trump is bitching about Obamacare, right? Right. Wanna lower health care costs? Eat this way.

We’re liberals. My family is doing all we can to lower health care costs. But not eating this way, is increasing health care costs. I’m cool with that, in so far as freedom of choice.

But here’s what I’m not cool with. I’m not cool with paying more for health insurance because of everyone else’s lifestyle. But that’s exactly what happens. Because when someone has a heart attack, or generates medical bills due to their lifestyle — eating garbage all day every day, for years — the rest of the insureds pay for it. Our medical insurance rates go up. Don’t believe me? Call your insurance company.

America is land of the free, people should be free to eat what they want. But on the flip side, why do I have to pay more for insurance just because the next guy ignored the truth and wouldn’t take care of himself?

Go ahead. Eat McDonald’s, donuts, fast food, soda, pizza, meat, salads loaded with ranch dressing, candy, processed foods — have at it. But if you get sick because of how you eat, just don’t ask me to pay for it.

And if you’re gonna bitch about jobs, do something about it. You can start by changing what you eat.

Please stop bitching about liberals or calling Obama a socialist. Walk the walk. We are. I’m putting up videos that anyone can watch, that help people get healthier. I’m pointing people to small American businesses, trying to create more business for them which creates more jobs. All for free. Because we believe in helping others.

WTF are Trump people doing? I’ve yet to see anything from them that helps me. All I see, is a bunch of bitching about liberals. So tell me. Who’s more American?
